New Addiction

I have recently acquired an old Soviet fully-manual Leica-copy rangefinder camera. Those of you familiar with RF photography already know how much fun it is, and I have recently discovered for myself. The camera is a FED-3b, sporting a surprisingly nice Industar 61 L/D lens, and even a Diopter correction ring(!), amazing considering it was produced around 1963-1980, and costs $20. The FED takes its name from the factory named after "Iron" Felix Dzerzhinsky. This would naturally mean that my camera, which is older than me, was made by Ukrainian child labor. But it takes nice pictures, and I let sleeping dogs lie.
